Taught by Danae Horst:

Danae has always been an entrepreneur, from the babysitting business she ran as a kid, to starting a catering company at 20, she's had her hand in small businesses for most of her life. Today, having 'retired' from running other people's businesses, she stays busy focusing on her own: creating one of a kind items with a vintage past for Prairie & Pearl- her jewelry line; providing bookkeeping consultations for creative start-up businesses; and sourcing vintage goods and writing about all things vintage for her new venture- Gather & Hunt.

Being a bookkeeper by trade, Danae, a former organizer for School House Craft, understands the importance of having a system to keep track of finances and enjoys helping creative small business owners set up their own systems- especially the ones who are afraid of numbers.

By night, Danae is an avid cook, amateur photographer, singer, and dabbler in all things crafty. She lives in a Seattle apartment full of craft supplies and vintage goodness with her husband Bill.
