So we thought why not do a few pre - conference classes now to get us started! Check out our event pages to see details about these upcoming events!

Bookkeeping. We all know it's important, but somehow it always ends up at the bottom of our to-do lists.Overwhelmed at the thought of it? Not sure where to begin? Come learn some simple steps to getting started, discover the basics of setting up an easy-to-maintain system, and feel more prepared for tax time! Danae, a small business owner and professional bookkeeper, will also make sure there's lots of time to answer all your questions.
If you were able to join us at the 2011 School House Craft conference you probably had the opportunity to sit down and play at the creative reuse and craft table sponsored by The Joy Guild and Art Camp for Big Kids. That was just a sneek peek of what you could enjoy at their upcoming spring retreat. The retreat offers adults the opportunity to get away and enjoy being creative. A time to decompress, experiment and just have fun.
Be sure to check out local Etsy sellers at the EtsyRain Handmade Holiday Show this weekend!
For most of us we are now in the gearing up for the holidays mode but take a minute to check out this article on Unanimous Craft about how to get the most out of attending a craft conference.
