A three day conference where students will gather to attend classes from speakers who are getting straight A's in the small business DIY community! School House Craft will also be an opportunity to network and build friendships with other students. Students will build lasting relationships to help support and grow their small business!
Anyone who has or is considering starting a small business with a focus on art, craft or design. Do you have a shop on etsy, design websites, sell your work to shops or galleries, own your own retail shop, want to start a new venture turning your passion into a small business? If the answer is yes this is the conference for you!
A Special Note: The Phinney Neighborhood Center does not have an elevator and many of our classes are scheduled in classrooms on the third floor. We would like to accomodate anyone who wishes to come to the event so please get in touch as we will make every effort to schedule your requested classes on the main level. If you have any questions about accessibility please get in touch.
School will be held September 21st - 23rd, 2012.

The 2011 School House Craft conference will be held in lovely Seattle, Washington in the friendly neighborhood of Phinney Ridge. Our classes will be hosted at The Phinney Neighborhood Center, an amazing former schoolhouse!

Early Bird Tickets - prior to Sept 1st
3 day ticket = $180.00
2 day ticket = $140.00
1 day ticket = $75.00
Individual Class = $30.00
After Sept 1st
3 day ticket = $225.00
2 day ticket = $170.00
1 day ticket = $90.00

We will also be offering tickets at the door each day. We will accept cash and credit cards. We would suggest buying your tickets early though as we may reach capacity and limit the number of tickets sold at the door.

Ticket price includes admission to attend all the classes and events for your purchased ticket day. There are no additional fees. Lunch and an after school snack will be provided daily.
Transportation, parking and accommodations are not included. Although there is plenty of free parking in the area!
We suggest attending school on all three days as each day will be filled with different classes and attending the full weekend will allow you the opportunity to build lasting bonds with other students. Although, if your schedule does not permit we do have tickets for individual classes, one or two day passes.

We will be selling tickets until we reach our maximum capacity so we would suggest buying tickets early so you don't miss out!

We will offer refunds on tickets up until September 1st with an administrative fee of 20% off the ticket price. After September 1st we can not offer refunds. No shows will forfeit their admission ticket fee.

Yes there will be vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options in the cafeteria but we might suggest bringing extra options just in case our choices do not suit you.
We'd suggest everyone bring their camera, business cards, a few of your products to show off, and we have wifi if you'd like to bring your laptop.
Yes, in purchasing a ticket to SHC your are giving permission to be photographed and video taped. We will be share these images and videos online.
Yes! We would love for our attendees to also consider sponsorship opportunities. Check out our sponsorship page. We have many sponsorship choices. It's a great way to get your brand in front of supportive artists, crafters and designers!
