Dinah Coops is a Seattle based designer making modern, hand silkscreened home and personal accessories utilizing sustainable PaperStone and textiles. She launched Dinah Coops Design in 2007 to combine her interests in surface design and useful yet beautiful everyday objects. Dinah believes that building a sustainable world requires higher quality products, simple designs, and materials that are as low impact as possible in their creation. This drives her to partner with local craftspeople, and use organic/low toxicity materials wherever feasible. Her background as a designer and art director with fashion and home furnishings companies in New York and Seattle helps guide both her work and her message. Participating in trade shows has expanded Dinah’s retailers nationwide and also spread the word about her work through publications and blogs, including Fine Cooking and Communication Arts.
